So, DOCSIS 3.0 cable Internet is available in my area, and I wish to share my joy since upgrading...lol.

thats nuts... don't think we will ever see speeds like that up north in these backwoods I have 10mb and i thought I was rockin

Good hearing from you Barbooooooo. And looking forward to a possible resurgence of the Gato clan in SWTOR.

I was reading some forum threads on various networking sites this evening discussing how many DOCSIS 3 cable modems are still set to be using DOCSIS 2.X uploads by the cable providers. Your cable provider sends firmware and updates that only it wants you to have down to your modem, so there is not much you can do yourself, but you can call to discuss this with them to see if that is a possibility. Also, several cable modems have a web interface you can access at http://192.168.100.1, which will give you some diagnostics to provide to your cable provider.
