OK is there going to be enough of us playing for a while to form a fleet or do we need to fend for ourselves and go buddy hunting. The pre-purchase early play started yesterday and already I have been found by a fellow player. Trektukian as a name still gave me away LOL. Game has been pretty good and I think it will be good for a few months run. Post up gang so we can join up and explore space and beyond....

Craig,(aka Kia), mentioned that he wanted to start a Fleet....we need 5 of us to start....he was thinking of naming it "Rogue Squadron"
It sounds kinda star warsy to me...hehe...but I think we are wanting to take a break from the Wasabi name...if that's ok.
Anyway...

Still need to find out what lynn's is LOL have not even quested together yet because I am so far ahead of her. Level 9 Science Officer. I guess we need to think about a fleet name for our Klingon side too

ok for sure it is B'ob@bobenstein for Q and Nyl@Lylflier. I think you can add then but they must accept before it takes. so i guess for all my tunes you would just need to do a search on Mantuke and you would see which one is online. Haven't made any others yet but I know I will

But I think Wassabi sounds more trekish then Star Warsy LMAO Kinda along the line of something the gorn might call a ship.

I hit Lt. Commander last night which is level 11 and got my new ship. USS Lightspeed. It is a science vessel and that is my calling. If today is steady (can't play till I get home) it will be the first ful 24 hours without server crashes. If you played any of Cryptics games then you will feel right at home with this one.

Most quests can be turned in virtualy so you are not having to fly back and fourth across the galaxy. Most skill ups for you and your crew are handled the same way. No real crafting at this point.

Graphics are good.

Away missions where you take your away team into combat on the ground are fun and to me are a bigger challange than fight in space. You need to move around and watch your team, agro, pick target, tumble out of harms way, do knockbacks, heals, focus firing ect. for you and your 4 team members you control.

PVP from the events I have gone into are already one sided with the Kligons having better gear and being more of a team than the Federation.

If they get the stabilty issue taken care of this for us could be many hours of fun in a Treky universe.

Mantuke is right, PvP is one sided but only when the Federation doesn't act like a team. I've been in some fights that were pretty close and intense when the Fed is a team.

I never got high enough to test it, but ship combat is supposed to get more challenging the higher you go in the game.
